Throughout the summer, Angelina Jolie has been wowing fans in chic gowns as she promoted Salt across the world.

But last Friday, she showed off her effortlessly chic casual style as she left her family's French Quarter home.

On her feet: Her favorite pair of flip flops.

Designed by the New York-based company Tkees, Jolie's sandals run about $48.

The 35-year-old Jolie -- who is about to direct her first movie -- was in the Big Easy to support beau Brad Pitt, who helped mark the fifth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. He has spent more than $5 million helping to rebuild the area.
