Capping off the first decade of the 21st century, Angelina Jolie, Johnny Depp, Daniel Radcliffe, and scores of other Hollywood A-listers are getting the red carpet treatment from Guinness World Records.

Some of the new records revealed in this year's Guinness World Records 2010
edition include a top spot for one of the industry's most bankable stars,
Angelina Jolie, who claims the title as "Most Powerful Actress"*. This is
Jolie's second year at the top spot, she held the title last year with her
beau Brad Pitt. The tide has turned for Pitt though, with Johnny Depp
reclaiming the title of "Most Powerful Actor"* based on his most recent films
including the blockbuster Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.

"From wizards and superheroes to vampires and Vulcans, this was a fantastic
decade for Hollywood and Guinness World Records was there to capture it all,"
said Craig Glenday, Editor-In-Chief, Guinness World Records. "If you want to
get a glimpse beyond the tabloids to learn about your favorite celebs or
happen to be a pop-culture trivia buff, this year's book is the ultimate
compendium of Hollywood facts and figures."

Harry Potter has cast a spell on millions of fans and created magic for its
stars Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson who continue to ride the meteoric
success of the film franchise straight to the bank picking up Guinness World
Records along the way. Radcliffe is the "Highest-Grossing Actor of the
Decade", raking in an average of $558 million per film. Watson, on the other
hand, earned the record for "Highest Average Box-Office Gross for an Actress".
She has been in six movies that have grossed an average of $753.7 million
each.

When it comes to some of the biggest movies of the decade, Guinness World
Records has it covered. JJ Abram's re-imagination of Star Trek made it into
this year's book as the "Most Downloaded Movie Trailer (24 Hours)" with 1.8
million downloads on Apple.com in the first day and more than five million in
its first five days of release. Twilight, directed by Catherine Hardwicke, has
captured the hearts and wallets of millions while claiming the record for
"Highest-Grossing Movie By A Female Director".

It's not all glitz and glamour in Hollywood though, on the flip side of every
blockbuster is a bomb. Listed in this year's Guinness World Records 2010
edition for the "Most Razzie Nominations" is Sylvester Stallone, who was
nominated for the annual Golden Raspberry "Worst in Film" Awards a record 30
times (winning 10). For the "Most Razzie Nominations In A Single Year",
there's something about Ben Stiller who received a record five in 2004 for
Along Came Polly, Anchorman, Dodgeball, Envy and Starsky & Hutch.

This world renowned and celebrated annual, Guinness World Records 2010,
contains the most comprehensive collection of the greatest and most amazing
accomplishments from this past decade and beyond. A "must-have" for both
knowledge-seekers and aspiring record-breakers of all ages, Guinness World
Records 2010 is available September 17th for the suggested retail price of
$28.95. For more information about Guinness World Records 2010, to find out
