'Brangelina' House on the Market in Edmond

A home in the metro inspired by two famous actors is nearing completion and comes with a hefty price tag.

A 4,000 square foot Edmond home called Brangelina was inspired by actors Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and was designed by artist Xvala and sculptor Daniel Edwards.

Outside, the home looks like any other home in the area, but the differences are on the inside.

"It's a name with exclusivity, and if you can give exclusivity to somebody you're giving them optimism," Xvala said.

The house has the same features of a regular house including bedrooms, bathroom, a big kitchen, family room, and garage, but what is most noticeably unique about the home is the art throughout.

The home features several pieces of art, but the signature piece of the home is a sculpture of the famous couple being intimate that has been bolted to the master bedroom ceiling.

"The house itself is a work of art," Edwards said.

The home features the controversial sculpture of Angelina breast feeding, but the signature piece is a sculpture of the famous couple being intimate. The sculpture is bolted to the ceiling in the master bedroom and was designed by Edwards.

"The sculpture mounted on the ceiling above the bed is pretty much to inspire the room's occupants to be loving and nurturing and intimate," Edwards said.

The artists said the downturn in the housing market also inspired them to build the home, but it isn't cheap. The price tag is nearly $500,000.

"We're not trying to create the most affordable home. That's not our battle. We're trying to create the idea that a home is a special place," Edwards said.

There will be one stipulation for the person who ends up buying the home. They must sign a honorary contract saying they'll allow Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to stop by anytime they like.

"Whoever buys the house, if it's bought as an art piece or a livable home, both celebrities have full-time access year-round here," said Cory Allen, Brangelina project coordinator.

The artists said they have reached out to the couple, but still have not received word on whether they will actually stop by.

The builders are still putting some finishing touches on the house, but it should be ready in about a week.

BRAD PITT TO TEAM UP WITH TWILIGHT MAKERS

BRAD PITT is getting back into the vampire business, teaming up with the makers of the blockbuster Twilight films to tell the story of young Dracula.

Vlad will be “stylistically ­daring and action-packed, like a cross between Braveheart and 300,” said a source close to the production in Hollywood.

Brad Pitt starred in the 1994 hit ­Interview With A Vampire alongside Tom Cruise.

This time he will be in a behind-the-scenes role. His company, Plan B, is ­looking for a young unknown to cash in on the success of ­Twilight and its ­sequel, New Moon, based on Stephanie Meyer’s novels.

“They’re looking to cast a hot young actor,” confided the source. “Someone who isn’t already a big star but who girls will adore.”

Twilight’s ­makers, Summit ­Entertainment, developed Vlad from a screenplay by British actor Charlie Hunnam, who starred in the film version of Nicholas Nickelby, and TV’s Queer As Folk.

Bram Stoker’s 1897 novel Dracula was inspired by the real-life 15th century ruler Vlad III, whose bloodlust earned him the nickname Vlad The Impaler.

The film, set during the days of the Ottoman Empire, will focus on the rivalry between Vlad and Muslim ­brother Radu.

Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie, Brad’ partner, is set to film her steamiest sex scene yet, with heart-throb Johnny Depp.

Angelina, 34, and Depp, 46, start shooting the thriller The Tourist in ­February.

The Sunday ­Express has seen the erotic screenplay, by British writer Julian Fellows.

Angelina stars as Interpol agent Cara Mason and Depp plays Frank ­Taylor, an American tourist she recruits to flush out a former criminal lover.

The opening moments of the explicit shower scene have no dialogue.

The script says: “The outline of her naked body is visible in the shower. Frank walks to the shower and opens the glass door. Walking in, he lifts Cara against the glass, clutching at her ­slithery body, kissing her frantically.

“She kisses him back with ardour, wrapping her dripping legs around his back.”

Columbia Pictures, the distributor, is already bracing itself for the fall-out.

The scene could also further unsettle Angelina’s relationship with Brad, whom she fell for while filming Mr And Mrs Smith five years ago, ending his six-year marriage to Jennifer Aniston.

As she films with Depp, Brad will be in the Brazilian rainforest filming the adventure film The Lost City Of Z.

A Hollywood executive said last night: “Angelina and Johnny have never played opposite one another. It’s ­going to be interesting to see the chemistry.

“Johnny’s a quiet ­family man but ­Angelina tends to have an ­electrifying effect on her co-stars.

“If I were Brad I’d be sitting in the jungle fretting about what she was up to with one of the most dashing leading men in the business.”

But there was no sign of disunity between the two last night.

Angelina, a UNICEF ambassador, was seen gazing adoringly at her 46-year-old partner of five years and at one point ran her fingers through his hair.

And while all eyes were on the couple, they were not the only celebrities present.

A host of stars attended, including George Clooney, Matt Damon, Bruce Willis and Cindy Crawford.

The evening was designed to honour individuals who made key contributions to UNICEF's mission to save and improve children lives worldwide.

Producer and long-time philanthropist Jerry Weintraub was honored as Man of the Year with UNICEF's Danny Kaye Humanitarian Award.

The evening raised more money for the organisation than any UNICEF Ball to date.

Weintraub, Pitt, Clooney, Damon and Don Cheadle allo donated $250,000 to help the organisation's mission to reduce the number of preventable deaths of children from 24,000 to zero.

Weintraub directed the actor's in Ocean's Eleven and it's follow-up franchise.

Other guests included Joan Collins, Larry David, Selena Gomez, Benji Madden and Joel Madden and Alyssa Milano.

Angelina Jolie mulls buying a house for sponsored children

Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie has been paying for education and food of seven children in Jordan and is now considering buying them a home.

According to staff at SOS Children’s Village in Amman, Jolie, who has six kids of her own, became guardian to the three girls and four boys in 2003 and has been providing them with food and clothing ever since.

And SOS employee Aysha Shahin adds that the actress may even be investing in a home for the family to live in, reported imdb.com

“Angelina will support us by visiting again, even sponsoring a house which will pay the children’s expenses. She’s a sweetheart, and one of our greatest supporters, she said.

The FCC was apoplectic, CBS was apologetic, and Timberlake's classic two-word explanation for what happened entered the language.

The entire episode was sad and seedy.

R. Kelly's possibly underage sex tape partner: The R&B crooner had long had a reputation for favoring very young women, but the allegation that he had made a sex tape with a girl several years underage was a new level of icky. Kelly was charged with sexual relations with a minor and producing child pornography, but was finally acquitted after many years of delay. Kelly's music, once relatively mainstream, has gotten stranger and more kinky in recent years.

Britney Spears spends a year or so freaking out: After marrying Kevin Federline, the once glamorous pop princess seemed to adopt many of her hubby's slovenly ways (walking into public bathrooms barefoot being a particularly gross example), but it wasn't until after the marriage ended in 2006 that Spears really hit the skids. Lowlights of this period included the impulsive decision to shave her head, numerous photographs of her hitting the town wearing no panties under too-short skirts, a comatose performance at the MTV Video Music Awards, and a brief commitment to a psychiatric ward. It wasn't until she was placed under conservatorship, with her father managing her affairs, that Spears was able to regain some balance.

Paris Hilton goes to jail: Everybody knows that celebrities who are charged with nonviolent crimes can just make the problem disappear, right? Hilton may have counted on this when she violated the terms of a probation for DUI by driving with a suspended license, but a surprisingly no-nonsense judge actually forced her to spend a few weeks in jail in 2007. It was a hard stretch for Hilton and even harder for the Hollywood clubs and paparazzi who relied on her, but all managed to make it through OK.

JENNIFER ANISTON SUMMONED TO COURT IN AGENT LAWSUIT

JENNIFER ANISTON has been subpoenaed to appear in court as part of a sexual harassment lawsuit involving her agent.

The former Friends star was leaving a party in Los Angeles on Thursday night (03Dec09), the launch of her yoga trainer’s new workout DVD, when she was served with legal papers.

The actress has been asked to appear in court as a witness as part of a sexual harassment lawsuit filed against her agent, Todd Shemarya, according to RadarOnline.

Shemarya is being sued by his former assistant, Heather Devlin, who claims she was “exposed to a constant barrage of offensive sexual, racial and religious comments,” before she was fired from his firm.

Devlin’s suit also alleges Shemarya created a hostile work environment by exposing her to internet porn, “parading naked” around her, and even mocking his Hollywood clients – who also include Leonardo DiCaprio and Aniston’s ex-husband Brad Pitt.

Shemarya has denied the allegations, branding Devlin “a disgruntled employee” who is “trying to extort money.”

That someone would be none other than artist Daniel Edwards who recently completed a larger than life sized statue of a nude Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt holding each other in a provocative embrace.

According to PRnewswire.com, the statue was installed into the bedroom ceiling of a newly construed $500,000 Oklahoma home to inspire "sexual healing." Publicist Cory Allen went on to tell PRnewswire,

"The 'Brangelina' sculpture is destined to exist forever, the way Brad and Angie's relationship will persist in peoples' memories. Theirs is the Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton romance of our time,"

The statue depicts a bare breasted Jolie leaning against Pitt, with a dove resting on her shoulder, arm stretched over Brad's shoulder, and her hand stroking the back of his ahem...head. Brad Pitt is shown standing erect and looking into the distance with a pensive stare similar to the ones he's given in "Legends of the Fall" and "Mr. and Mrs. Smith." Speaking of "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," the statue is reported to contain the stars DNA from embedded pieces of the champagne glasses Brad and Angelina drank from when they celebrated the anniversary of their first rendezvous which happened to occur on the set of the movie.

Xvala, the artist who built the 500k home, peddled her own PR claiming "I believe every home in America should become an 'honorary home' to our Superstars, in order to connect celebrities and regular people in spirit." Yeah, because there are so many "regular people" who can afford homes that cost half a million dollars!

When they say that the "Brangelina" will exist forever, do they mean that the owners of the home will be able to clone Angelina and Brad Pitt using the "champagne glass DNA" in the future even after their gone? I'd like to see that made into a movie!

The Brangelina will be on public view starting Wednesday December 16th at 11:00 AM in the Thornbrooke neighborhood of Edmond.

Inspired by Brad Pitt's mission to help rebuild houses in New Orleans's Lower Ninth Ward after hurricane Katrina, the artist Xvala built "The Brangelina," a house which requests its future owners agree to extend 'Honorary Ownership' of their home to Pitt and Jolie, and to accommodate them every time they come to town to visit Pitt's grandmother.

"I believe every home in America should become an 'honorary home' to our superstars, in order to connect celebrities and regular people in spirit," said Xvala.

The statue and the house are part of the documentary "Domestic Bliss: The Daniel Edwards/XVALA Project" by Oklahoma filmmaker Dave Smith and produced by Vacant Era Films, scheduled to premiere at The New York Academy of Art. Ian Halperin’s “Brangelina” Exclusive Interview

Ian Halperin, author of “Brangelina,” was kind enough to sit down with me and talk about his explosive book that is filled with details of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s life. From their affair while he was still married to Jennifer Aniston to their tabloid filled life, Ian has collected inside information on the couple who reign supreme in tabloids.

What do you think the fascination with Brangelina is?

People have never seen a couple this high profiled since Liz Taylor and Richard Burton. They are the top leading man and leading lady in the last decade who scream of beauty, intelligence, power, and sexuality. They are very sexy people. Not only American but the whole world has become enamored with them, especially in the tabloids.

In an interview you did with PopEater you talked about how the book is balanced in the sense it isn’t a hatchet job on the couple. Angelina is known for her dedication to charities and being a good will ambassador, yet you said she is “manipulative” and “scheming” can you give an example?

No matter what people believed there is no evidence of evilness. Manipulative - yes, but Evil - no. Manipulative in the sense that she did have sex with Brad Pitt while he was married to Jennifer Aniston and started their affair only weeks into filming. She has a history of stealing men from other women - Billy Bob Thorton from Laura Dern , Brad Pitt from Jennifer Aniston, essentially destroying her public image with women.

How many people did you talk to to get personal accounts and sources for the book?

How willing were they to share personal details?

A lot were very willing. I didn’t use a lot of the information gathered during research because I wanted extreme collaboration. I was very picky about what went into the book.

With the entire Jennifer Aniston/Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolie triangle…does she really care one way or another, or is Jen simply a thorn in side when it comes to the way the media views Jolie?

Essentially, Angelina brought it all upon herself. She became a home-wrecker in the eyes of housewives. I like to call her a Master of Misdirections like the magicians say about themselves. When her image is tarnished, she finds ways to turn it around. Angelina started the rumor that Brad left Jennifer because she didn’t want to have children and wanted to focus on her career when in fact Jennifer was desperately trying to get pregnant because she didn’t want to look like a man-stealing bitch. She even had her brother and her manager in on it, helping to fuel the rumors. There was no truth to the rumor and when Brad found out about it he was extremely upset about and told Angelina she needs to stop but by that time it was too late. People who were originally on Jennifer’s side were coming over to Angelinas side.

Is there anything in your book that could be damning to their marriage if Brad were to pick up a copy and read it?

Oh yea. I think he needs to pick up a copy of the book and read it because he is in for a shocker. Love is blind. Brad has no idea what he is involved in. He’ll find out that Angelina is an extremely sexual woman with a history of past drug use - LSD and heroin mainly - and about her suicidal threats, her lesbian affairs… He will be extremely concerned.

Do you fear any backlash from the book such as lawsuits?

No. Everything is easily backed up and a solid account. There is nothing to fear, it was very well researched. I’ve always said if you can find one thing in the book that isn’t fact, I would sleep naked in Times Square for one month.

Their split seems to be eminent. Who do you think will be the one to break things off?

I think it will be mutual. They just simply don’t get along. Its simple - they keep getting on each others nerves. When they decide to split, it will be mutual and they will figure out together what will be a good situation for the kids. I give them 1 - 1 1/2 years.

How long did it take you to put the entire book together?

I started in 2004 when I met Brad on the red carpet Ocean’s 12 Premiere, so a little over 5 years.

What do you hope people take away from reading “Brangelina”?

I think its very important to read, especially the people who are following them in the tabloids. I didn’t make the stories up, I really dug deep to get the true accounts from friends, personal assistants… people who have known them for years.

Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman among new Who's Who 2010 entrants

Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman, the American actors, have made it into Who's Who 2010, adding a "touch of Hollywood glamour" to the list of new entrants.
The biographical compendium of society's leading figures is primarily for British people, however, if the influence of a foreigner is deemed to have shaped life here, they can be included.

The selection process for entry into Who's Who remains a closely guarded secret, and the panel will not disclose who they have considered or how they reached their decisions.

Pitt and Freeman join a long list of American actors who are already among the 33,000 names in Who's Who, including Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Meryl Streep and Jodie Foster.

A Who's Who spokesman said: "People who are high achievers, household names and who have had an impact upon this country, whether it be in the world of commerce or entertainment, can make the book.

"We have quite a cast of American actors in Who's Who now, this year it is Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman who are bringing Hollywood glamour to the edition.

"However, we will never disclose why or how we made the choice of who to include in the book each year."

However, those hoping to gain more of an insight into what Pitt and Freeman do with their spare time from their entry in the big red book will be disappointed.

"Unfortunately neither of them have added anything about their recreational activities, so we aren't given any extra insights, they have just given the basic biographical information," she said.

Pitt, 45, entered as William Bradley Pitt, had his acting breakthrough in Thelma and Louise in 1991 and has gone onto star in dozens of Hollywood films.

He is frequently listed as one of the world's most attractive men and has had two Academy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations, winning one.

He is also noted for his humanitarian work, alongside his partner, the actress Angelina Jolie, with whom he has six children.

Freeman, 72, entered as Morgan Porterfield Freeman, has had a long and distinguished acting career which started nearly 40 years ago.

He received Academy Award nominations for his performances in Street Smart, Driving Miss Daisy, and The Shawshank Redemption before winning in 2005 for Million Dollar Baby.

He has also won a Golden Globe Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
