New book reveals why Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie destined to split

HOLLYWOOD'S most glamorous couple is headed for Splitsville, according to a blockbuster book, "Brangelina: The Untold Story of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie", being released in the United States this week.

Author Ian Halperin, who spoke to 900 sources to build a "true picture" of the pair, talked exclusively to The New York Post about his most sensational findings.

It was 2004, just weeks before shooting was to begin on the action flick "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," when Angelina Jolie happened to visit the set of the hit show "Friends."

"Brad is so excited to be working with you," Jennifer Aniston told her husband's new co-star. "I hope you guys have a really good time."

They certainly did. Less than a year later, Brad Pitt and Jolie would pose for W magazine in a spread called "Domestic Bliss."

Real-life romance soon followed, as modern Hollywood's most famous love triangle played out in the tabloids. Eventually, Pitt would leave Aniston and take up with Jolie, jetting to red carpets and orphanages around the world.

It was the electrifying love-making that brought Brangelina together, says Halperin, who followed the couple for five years to prepare to write his book.

"Brad had never had such incredible sex," Halperin says. "My sources say that they sometimes spent 18 to 20 hours a day in bed. But sex eventually wears off."

Now, Halperin claims, the couple "argues like cats and dogs - everything from politics to clothes the kids wear and Brad's 'atrocious habit,' which includes pot smoking and alcohol."

"I talked to several people in Brad's family who wished they'd break up today. They're scared for Brad's safety and his well-being," he says.

A limo driver who drove Brangelina frequently witnessed them "going at it in the back seat" twice and saw a "U-turn" in their relationship in 2007.

"I was more worried about his safety than hers," the driver says. "She really flew off the handle, threatening him and lashing out at him. I can't imagine how anyone would want to be with her every day, no matter how sexy she is. She has a temper like a cobra."

A woman who worked with Pitt while he was filming "Troy" told Halperin: "They were definitely in love, but that's where it gets tricky. If you want to know if they're still together, the answer depends on when you ask the question.

"I've heard that they've broken up so many times it would make your head spin.

"There are apparently screaming matches, usually with her doing the screaming. Nobody really witnesses that part of it - they just see him leaving in a huff. But then he ends up coming back again, and nobody knows what happened to bring him back."

Pitt may have cheated on Jolie, according to Halperin's book.

The most persistent story that crops up time and again involves Pitt and a beautiful Sudanese model, Amma, whom he met at a benefit for Darfur at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival.
He was seen with her at least one more time. Jolie has allegedly accused Pitt of cheating on her on more than one occasion, which is one of the reported sources of tension between the two, Halperin writes.

Another tension is Pitt's pot use, the book states. According to a well-known Hollywood journalist, "(Pitt and Aniston) spent much of their married life stoned. But whereas he was chilled out, she could get pretty paranoid."

A woman who works for an industry publication says his drug use will give Jolie an easy way to explain their split, when it inevitably happens: "They'll be split within 18 months, probably sooner," she told Halperin.

"And here's how it's going to play out. They're going to split amicably, work out some kind of arrangement with the kids, and everything will be very civilized.

"Then you're going to see unidentified friends leak stories how Angelina couldn't put up with Brad's partying and drinking and his pot smoking.

"She's worried about the kids, and she's afraid it's not the right environment for them. Maybe he'll even take part of the blame and go along with that.

Halperin claims that Pitt's biggest problem with Jolie is her controlling nature. "She won't let [Pitt] out of the house alone," he said. "She's very guarded about him. I don't think she's evil, but she's manipulative, deceiving and cunning."

She has even spread lies about love rival Aniston to make herself look better in the public eye, Halperin claims.

It happened when Jolie first met and fell for Pitt on the set of "Mr. and Mrs. Smith." At the time, he was still married to Aniston - and Jolie feared she'd be branded a homewrecker, Halperin said.

So Jolie leaked a story about Aniston, claiming that the "Friends" star didn't want children but wanted to focus on her career - and this was the reason her marriage had ended, the book states.

By now, Jolie was an accomplished veteran at what one publicist called "misdirection" - deflecting a crisis by changing the subject.

"It was Angelina who came up with the whole story about Jennifer not wanting to have kids," a source connected to 20th Century Fox, which produced 'Mr and Mrs Smith'," said. "She was convinced that is the story that would resonate with all these women who saw her as a man-stealing bitch."

Pitt was furious when he heard about the mean-spirited whisper campaign that his new girlfriend was spreading about his ex-wife. He ordered Jolie to stop the rumors.

Aniston, in fact, was thought to be pregnant twice during her marriage - both times ending in miscarriage, in 2003 and 2004, according to Halperin.

Pot-puffing Pitt & paranoid Jolie on road to breakup amid loud & 'scary' fights

Hollywood's most glamorous couple is headed for Splitsville, according to a blockbuster book, "Brangelina: The Untold Story of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie" (Transit), out Tuesday. Author Ian Halperin, who spoke to 900 sources to build a "true picture" of the pair, talked exclusively to The Post about his most sensational findings.

PRICE OFFAME: While Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt project a glamorous image jetting off to red-carpet premieres, their six kids, including (from left) Maddox, Zahara and Shiloh, spend so much time with caretakers that one London hotel employee heard Shiloh call a nanny “Mommy.”

They certainly did. Less than a year later, Brad Pitt and Jolie would pose for W magazine in a spread called "Domestic Bliss." Real-life romance soon followed, as modern Hollywood's most famous love triangle played out in the tabloids. "Brad had never had such incredible sex," Halperin says. "My sources say that they sometimes spent 18 to 20 hours a day in bed. But sex eventually wears off."

ESCALATING TENSIONS

Now, Halperin claims, the couple "argues like cats and dogs -- everything from politics to clothes the kids wear and Brad's 'atrocious habit,' which includes pot smoking and alcohol."

"I talked to several people in Brad's family who wished they'd break up today. They're scared for Brad's safety and his well-being," he says.

"There are apparently screaming matches, usually with her doing the screaming. Nobody really witnesses that part of it -- they just see him leaving in a huff. But then he ends up coming back again, and nobody knows what happened to bring him back."

CHEATING AND DRUGS

Pitt may have cheated on Jolie, according to Halperin's book.

The most persistent story that crops up time and again involves Pitt and a beautiful Sudanese model, Amma, whom he met at a benefit for Darfur at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. He was seen with her at least one more time. Jolie has allegedly accused Pitt of cheating on her on more than one occasion, which is one of the reported sources of tension between the two, Halperin writes.

Another tension is Pitt's pot use, the book states. According to a well-known Hollywood journalist, "[Pitt and Aniston] spent much of their married life stoned. But whereas he was chilled out, she could get pretty paranoid."

She's worried about the kids, and she's afraid it's not the right environment for them. Maybe he'll even take part of the blame and go along with that.

'MANIPULATOR' JOLIE

Halperin claims that Pitt's biggest problem with Jolie is her controlling nature. "She won't let [Pitt] out of the house alone," he said. "She's very guarded about him. I don't think she's evil, but she's manipulative, deceiving and cunning."

She has even spread lies about love rival Aniston to make herself look better in the public eye, Halperin claims.

It happened when Jolie first met and fell for Pitt on the set of "Mr. and Mrs. Smith." At the time, he was still married to Aniston -- and Jolie feared she'd be branded a homewrecker, Halperin said. So Jolie leaked a story about Aniston, claiming that the "Friends" star didn't want children but wanted to focus on her career -- and this was the reason her marriage had ended, the book states.

By now, Jolie was an accomplished veteran at what one publicist called "misdirection" -- deflecting a crisis by changing the subject.

"It was Angelina who came up with the whole story about Jennifer not wanting to have kids," a source connected to 20th Century Fox, which produced "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," said. "She was convinced that is the story that would resonate with all these women who saw her as a man-stealing bitch."

Pitt was furious when he heard about the mean-spirited whisper campaign that his new girlfriend was spreading about his ex-wife. He ordered Jolie to stop the rumors.

BABY HUNGER

Aniston, in fact, was thought to be pregnant twice during her marriage -- both times ending in miscarriage, in 2003 and 2004, according to Halperin.

Pitt and Aniston even built a dream nursery at their Beverly Hills mansion.

She had already designated a large, light-filled space in the corner of the couple's Beverly Hills mansion as a nursery for their expected baby, Halperin writes. Aniston supervised its transformation from beginning to end during the extensive renovation process.

"It wasn't just a room where you'd stick a crib and a mobile," a contractor said. "It was quite elaborate, and she had very specific ideas about it."

"They never decorated it as I saw, though," explained the contractor. "We're talking 2003. Maybe they were waiting to know whether the baby would be a boy or a girl."

THE NANNY DIARIES

Brangelina, of course, is now famous for their growing brood; they have six children, three adopted and three biological.

Although it is widely agreed the couple loves their children, they aren't entirely honest about the number of people they've hired to help raise them.

Jolie and Pitt employ a "multicultural" team of nannies to care for their young brood, Halperin writes. In fact, the children often spend more time with those nannies than they do with their parents, who spend weeks at a time shooting films and on goodwill trips, sometimes with a child or two in tow but never with all of them.

A hotel employee at the Dorchester Hotel in London once overheard 3-year-old Shiloh refer to one of her nannies as "Mommy," Halperin writes.

The employee also observed celebrity efforts to broadcast an image of a happy family.

"There's sometimes as much of a production involved in avoiding the wrong shot as there is in making a movie," she confided.

"Stars will never allow the nanny to be photographed with their kids. . . Sometimes you'll even have the nanny crouched down in the back seat of a car. It's quite comical."

BRAD PITT - ANISTON AND PALTROW SPEND THANKSGIVING IN MOROCCO

BRAD PITT's ex-lovers JENNIFER ANISTON and GWYNETH PALTROW spent Thanksgiving Day (26Nov09) together at a hotel launch in Morocco.
The actresses snubbed Thanksgiving celebrations in the U.S. to walk the red carpet in Marrakesh for the re-opening of Hotel La Mamounia, along with Pirates of the Caribbean star Orlando Bloom.

But it wasn't all glitz and glamour for Paltrow - she was quietly mourning the loss of her father, Bruce, who would have turned 66 on Thursday. He lost his battle with cancer in 2002.

The Shakespeare in Love star wrote in her Goop.com newsletter, "I dedicate this Thanksgiving letter, on parental acceptance, to my father, who would have been 66 today. He was the greatest parent, friend, rabbi any girl could ever have asked for. Happy Birthday Bruce. And Happy Thanksgiving everybody."
Paltrow split from fiance Pitt in 1997 after dating for two years, while Aniston ended her five-year marriage to the actor in 2005.

Brad Pitt and Beckhams caught in new Dubai debt crisis

Brad Pitt and Beckhams caught in new Dubai debt crisis

Brad Pitt and David Beckham are thought to be among those caught up in Dubai’s latest credit squeeze, as developer Nakheel and its state-owned parent company Dubai World have asked creditors for a six-month “standstill” on debt repayments totalling US$59 billion.

Just two hours after announcing it had raised $5bn from two Abu Dhabi banks, the department of finance asked for a standstill until May 30 on all financing to Dubai World and Nakheel, which is due to pay back $4bn on a bond on December 14.

The government has also called in accountants Deloitte to advise on restructuring the business. In a brief statement, it said the restructuring would be “designed to address financial obligations and improve efficiency for the future”.

Dubai World has the driving force behind the emirate’s rapid expansion, including the Palm Jumeirah and the World Islands. But now the fear is that it will be unable to continue with the Palm Jumeirah, leaving one of Dubai’s landmark developments a construction site.

News of the suspension is the clearest sign yet that the emirate might no longer meet its obligations.

The emirate is struggling with a debt burden of $80 billion as it embarks upon the biggest construction drive in history. It has been forced twice to approach its neighbour in Abu Dhabi for funds. The federal Government has approved $15 billion in bonds and more is expected to follow if Dubai’s state-owned businesses are to survive until an economic turnaround.

However the cost of insuring Abu Dhabi’s debt against default rose over a third on the news of Nakheel’s latest default.

When the 2,000 villas and townhouses on the Palm went on sale in 2002, they sold out within a month. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and the Beckhams were among those believed to have snapped up homes as Dubai became poised to be the world’s number one playground for the rich and famous.

Several English footballers, passing en route to the World Cup in Japan and Korea, also bought properties worth over £1 million. Purchasers included Michael Owen, David James, Joe Cole and Kieron Dyer. Cole was one of the few who got out in time, selling his villa for about £2.1 million last summer, just before Dubai’s property bubble burst.

The Dubai government has done its best to gloss over the crash, claiming recently that the population would rise this year by 400,000, in contrast to independent estimates, which predict a sharp fall.

Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum has consolidated his hold on the debt-laden emirate, downgrading powerful figures behind the construction bubble. Last week he sacked the governor of the Dubai International Financial Centre, Omar Bin Sulaiman, who had led efforts to transform Dubai into a Middle East finance hub. A day earlier, he dropped Mohammad al-Gergawi, Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem and Mohammed Ali Alabbar from the board of Dubai’s main holding company, the Investment Corporation of Dubai. The three were at the forefront of a construction drive that began in 2002.

However some parts of the Dubai World conglomerate remain strong, in particular DP World, the third-largest international ports operator, which bought P&O in 2006. Those parts of the business founded on the property boom, and Nakheel in particular, are likely to continue to struggle until the property market recovers.

Details on Steamy Shower Love Scenes Between Johnny Dep and Angelina Jolie IN THE TOURIST MOVIE

n what could be one of the most obscenely hot movie match-ups in history, Angelina Jolie is reportedly set to get hot and heavy with Johnny Depp in 'The Tourist,' and according to screenplay snippets given exclusively to PopEater by Life & Style, there might be a whole lot of steam and skin to gawk at. Want to see the juicy love scenes that are sure to burn up the screen? They're All Yours After the Jump!

The stunningly sexy Jolie and PEOPLE's newly-crowned 'Sexiest Man Alive' are set to lock lips (and from the sound of it, a lot more) on screen in 'The Tourist.' The screenplay goes into vivid detail about love scenes between the two. Want a sneak peek? "The outline of her naked body is visible in the shower ... Frank walks to the shower and opens the glass door. Walking in, he lifts Cara against the glass, clutching at her slithery body, kissing her frantically. She kisses him back with ardor, wrapping her dripping legs around his back."

And that's just where things get started in the 'Tourist' screenplay, written by Julian Fellowes.

The screenplay goes on to describe a scene in which Jolie's character of Cara "turns abruptly to Frank and presses her body against his ... They exchange a long, passionate kiss."

Later on, the sexual desires continue, and one scene goes as such: "Their lips meet. They kiss. And kiss. Like drinking from a fresh spring in the desert ... Gently, careful, Frank slips his hands into Cara's cleavage. Surprised, Cara starts to pull back -- but Frank puts a finger to her lips. She hesitates, looks at him questioningly. But she doesn't protest as his fingers move toward her bra."

Jolie has had her fair share of love scenes on screen, including some with her current boyfriend Brad Pitt, who she became romantically involved with after they met on the set of 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith.' At the time, Pitt was married to Jennifer Aniston, but they divorced shortly after.

While Depp hasn't been officially inked for 'The Tourist' just yet, 'Harry Potter' and 'Children of Men' director Alfonso Cuaron is set to direct the film.

Brad and Angelina are $7 million givers

Angelina Jolie, 34, and Brad Pitt, 45, gave a whopping $6.8 million to charities in 2008, the Hollywood Reporter says.

That was the amount given to various groups through the philanthropically minded couple's Jolie-Pitt Foundation, which donated about half of the $13 million it raised last year to nonprofits like Global Health, Human Rights Watch, the Armed Services YMCA, and Pitt's own Make It Right Foundation, dedicated to rebuilding New Orleans.

Another $1 million went to various causes in Cambodia, home country for their son Maddox.

Angelina Jolie Not an Obama Supporter

Barack Obama does not have Angelina Jolie's seal of approval.

"She hates him," a source close to the U.N. goodwill ambassador, 34, tells the new issue of Us Weekly (on newsstands now).

"She's into education and rehabilitation and thinks Obama is all about welfare and handouts. She thinks Obama is really a socialist in disguise," adds the source.

But don't expect to see the Salt actress rally against Democrats on Fox News like her staunch Republican father, Jon Voight.

"Angie isn't Republican, but she thinks Obama is all smoke and mirrors," the source says.

And those political views are putting her at odds with Brad Pitt, 45, who is a big fan of the president and even went solo to the 2008 election party in Chicago.

"They get in nasty arguments all the time about it," says the source. "She doesn't respect Brad when it comes to politics, but, in the end, this won't tear them apart."

Hollywood's smartest - and dumbest: Brad Pitt is BBHOHM (better before he opens his mouth)

George Clooney isn't happy just being rich and handsome. He also wants to stop the Iraq War and prevent genocide in Darfur. Sharon Stone, who became famous for wearing no knickers in 1992's Basic Instinct, can now be found wearing sensible trousers and visiting Israel to promote peace.

But these people are actors, not politicians. They're paid a truckload of money to look good under strong light. Why are they lecturing us on social issues?

Of course, Hollywood actors live in a democracy and have the right to speak their mind. It's just that some actors are flakes, and there's a suspicion they're just adopting fashionable causes to appear smarter.

And let's face it. Some actors seem as thick as bricks. For every scholarly type like John Malkovich, who gives the impression he's wandered onto a movie set on his way back from a Mensa conference, there's a knucklehead like Ashton Kutcher.

Brad Pitt is another example of someone who is, as they say online, BBHOHM (better before he opens his mouth). He looks good, but in interviews appears to be working overtime to sound like a deep thinker.

Then there's Melanie Griffith, who once amazed a reporter by claiming she'd never heard of the Nazi Holocaust.

But not every famous actor is a thicko. Some had distinguished academic careers before Hollywood. David Duchovny was briefly enrolled in Yale's English Lit PhD program before moving onto greener pastures. Matt Damon went to Harvard, and Maggie Gyllenhaal graduated from Columbia. Besides being smoking hot, Natalie Portman has a psychology degree from Harvard and speaks fluent Hebrew, French and Japanese.

The debate continues over who's a brainiac and who's an imposter. America's Entertainment Weekly once put together a "50 Smartest People in Hollywood" list that included George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Ben Stiller, Ben Affleck and the rather controversial inclusion of Angelina Jolie.

The New York Daily News responded with a "50 Dumbest People In Hollywood" list, which included Lindsay Lohan, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Charlie Sheen, Russell Crowe and Mel Gibson. This time there were howls of outrage that Angelina wasn't on the list. Ah, well. Jolie may not be a deep thinker, but that hasn't stopped her addressing the World Economic Forum, and at least she's pretty under those lights.

Brad Pitt and Reliance Big pact for sci-fi film “Dark Void”

nd Brad Pitt’s production company Plan B have entered into a pact with leading video gaming firm Capcom to make the sci-fi action game “Drak Void” into a motion picture.

“The theatrical version of the ‘Dark Void’ game is being developed as a sci-fi action franchise and potential starring vehicle for Pitt,” Anil Ambani Group’s Reliance Big said in a statement Saturday.

Capcom, which is a worldwide developer and publisher of video games, will be releasing “Dark Void” on various platforms, including the Xbox 360 of Microsoft and Playstation, across North America and Europe in January.

“Dark Void” is an adrenaline-fuelled blend of aerial and ground-pounding combat that centres on the character Will — a pilot who crash-lands in the Bermuda Triangle after a routine mission.

Will wakes up to find himself inside “The Void”, an alternate world resembling a primitive earth where aliens with superior technology are planning to take over the civilization.

Together with a faction of humans who have disappeared into this world, Will takes on the alien race using their own advanced technology, including a high-powered jet pack to defeat them and keep order in the civilized world.

“We are delighted that our creative partnership with Plan B has led to this agreement to develop the ‘Dark Void’ motion picture along with Capcom. We also look forward to future projects from them,” said Reliance Big chairman Amit Khanna.

According to Germaine Gioia, senior vice president for licensing with Capcom, “Dark Void” was developed as a game keeping a wide-screen in mind with a world full of adventure in cinematic scope and scale.

“Plan B recognized the potential of our newest property and are as excited about bringing Dark Void to life in cinemas as Capcom is to bring the interactive experience to home theatres.”

Angelina Joli and Brad Pitt one of theTop 20 most generous stars

Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and Oprah routinely top the media lists of the most generous celebrities. But if you're pulling in nearly a million dollars a day without hardly having to break a sweat, shouldn't you be giving something back?

The gap between the very richest one percent of Americans and the bottom has been widening ever since the Reagan Administration. The wealthiest one percent, or 14,000 families, control 22.2 percent of wealth, while the bottom 90 percent of us (133 million families) are left with just 4 percent of the total pie, according to a Wall Street Journal report.

What's more, the amount of the total income pie going to the very top of the top earners -- the .10 percent who fall into the Oprah category -- has been rising sharply, especially since 2000. The very top 1/10th percent of earners got 12.6 percent of the pie in 2007. And their share grew by 94 percent between 2002 and 2007. Not only are they getting more than the rest, but every year their slice is getting bigger.

So with all that pie, if you're one of the top of the top of the income pyramid, giving back is something that you should, if you have a conscience, consider.

A lot of celebrities know this and some seem to feel a bit guilty. Many celebrities shy away from publicizing their charitable giving. The Giving Back Fund has had trouble getting stars to release their charitable contributions for just that reason. They don't want to be seen as cashing in on their good works. But publicity is good because it can serve as a role model for others.

"Our hope is that celebrities will begin to become more comfortable sharing information about their charitable giving --- perhaps not disclosing everything they give, but sharing enough to enable them to serve as role-models to their peers and fans," said Marc Pollick, President and Founder of The Giving Back Fund.

Many, if not most celebrities are seriously committed to their causes and have used their fame to draw world attention to urgent global problems. But take a look at the Forbes magazine Celebrity 100 - which ranks the top earners and power brokers in the entertainment business --and you start to wonder why some of the very wealthiest aren't doing more. Or why some of those who aren't earning armored cars full of cash every minute are doing such good things but not getting much publicity.

The line between charity for charity sake and charity for the sake of public image is a hard one to distinguish. And maybe it doesn't even matter. If you're giving $50 million dollars to make the world a better place in some way, that money can do a lot of good and you deserve moral credit for giving it.

Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt WILL (Not) Reunite

This is a new one from the geniuses at In Touch Weekly.

Rather than simply making up Brad Pitt-Jennifer Aniston rumors as they normally do (see Brad running back to her, or their secret meeting earlier this fall), the popular supermarket tabloid magazine is entering the prediction business.

Brad and Jen may not be back together yet, but according to In Touch intel, you can rest assured they will. The headline says it all: YES, THEY'LL REUNITE!

If that doesn't convince you, we don't know what will ...

Yes, They

Brad and Jen will reunite! Seriously. Bank on it. In Touch said so.

Whether that's an older picture they used for the cover above, or an editing job even shadier than on Demi Moore's photoshopped W cover, the brief teaser on the cover leaves little doubt that this reunion is totally legit this time.

As Angelina Jolie, whose war against Jennifer Aniston never ceases, is panicking about her "battered reputation," Jen "waits for Brad" at a resort they love. Hot stuff.

You'll have to pick up a hard copy at the store to read about the "big steps" she and Jen are taking together in L.A., because they haven't posted the article online.

Our prediction, though, is that none of those steps have actually taken place. Call us crazy, but that's the hunch we get after the 19th interation of this same cover.

Brad Pitt says no to Directing Movies

Hollywood actor Brad Pitt says he will never be able to direct a movie because of his obsessive attention to details.

“To be a director you have to be a real perfectionist. I would get mad. I’d rather build houses. It’s very similar to directing, actually, because you’re inside this piece of art, you’re surrounded by it,” contactmusic.com quoted Pitt as saying.

The “Ocean’s Eleven” star has been acting for two decades now.

Video: Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt's Night at the Museum

ET has a candid look at Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie as they joined their celebrity peers at the Museum of Contemporary Art's (MOCA) 30th Anniversary Gala in Los Angeles, Calif. on Saturday night.
The couple had some laughs as they followed their tour guide through the museum.

"It's going to be an amazing night to look at the art," actor Neil Patrick Harris said prior to the event. "And Lady Gaga is dancing with ballet people so that will be kind of crazy."

Watch the video for more inside glimpses into Brad and Angie's date night and for more artsy moments from the other stars who attended, including James Franco and Eva Mendes.

EXCLUSIVE - Cops Called To Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's House

Cops were called to the Los Feliz home of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie yesterday at approximately 1:30pm, X17online can report exclusively.

The two police cars sped up to the gates of the couple's house with the sirens blaring, said our photogs, indicating some sort of emergency.

The police stayed for only 15 minutes, though, so it must have turned out to be less than serious.

We asked the boys in blue if everything was ok with Brad Pitt, and they responded "yes"!

Although the couple was in town this weekend, it's not clear if Brangelina were home at the time of the incident.

The LAPD is apparently unaware of the call and calls to the department's public information officer were not immediately returned.

Brad Pitt to Angie: We're too busy for more babies

ALTHOUGH Brad Pitt has said before he wants a “soccer team” of kids, Angelina Jolie’s decision to adopt a baby girl from Syria has got this famous dad of six feeling a little nervous.
Why?

The couple currently have to take care of Maddox, 8; Pax, 5; Zahara, 4; Shiloh, 3; and 16-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

And a pal notes: “He feels Knox and Viv are a handful right now.

“Another child would put too much strain on everyone.”

In fact, friends are worried that a seventh child could push Brad over the edge.

The friend explains: “He is feeling totally overwhelmed, as anyone would be going from being a bachelor to a father of six in such a short period of time.”

Between juggling film projects, fatherhood and charity work, the pal says, Brad is already stretched to the limit.

They continued: “He feels a massive weight of responsibility for all his children and worries that with his and Angie’s busy schedules, they are not giving the kids enough one-on-one time.”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Design Snake-Inspired RingJewelry

Add jewelry design to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's resume.

The two have completed a limited edition collection of gold jewelry and silver accessories called The Protector — which is inspired by the snake -- for high-end jeweler Asprey.

Women's Wear Daily reports that Pitt, 45, and Jolie, 34, have been working on the project for more than a year and that their pieces will go on sale at Asprey stores in London, New York, Beverly Hills, Tokyo and Dubai this week.

Prices start at $525 for a silver baby spoon with a curving, serpent-shaped handle. Other items in the collection: Silver baby gifts such as the spoon, an eggcup, tooth box and picture frame, as well as pendants and rings made from gold and micropavé diamonds, all featuring curving snakes.

Why the snake theme? According to WWD, Jolie was given a ring (not from Asprey) in the shape of a snake while pregnant with Shiloh and considers the reptile a protector of her family.

Proceeds go to Education Partnership for Children of Conflict, which Jolie co-founded in 2006. The organization raises awareness and funds to educate child victims of war, conflict and natural disasters.

Jolie declined to talk about their collection, but said in a statement: "These are the children who most need a safe place to learn, a place to heal, a place to learn reconciliation, a place to build a better future and a place — to just be children. Yet the education for these children is often forgotten. Tens of millions of children and adolescents in conflict are not in school."

It isn't Pitt's first time designing.

In 1996, after getting engaged to Gwyneth Paltrow, he gave her a simple diamond ring that he designed with the help of Italian jeweler Damiani. After wedding Jennifer Aniston in 2000, he collaborated with Damiani to design the wedding bands.

Angelina Jolie: Manipulative Mean Girl?

As could be expected, the release of “Brangelina: The Untold Story of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie” has stirred up all kinds of drama surrounding the “Fight Club” stud and his “Changeling” chick.

And the latest rumors say that Jolie manipulated her way into Brad’s life by waging “a mean-spirited but effective campaign” against his then-wife Jennifer Aniston.

Ian Halperin, the book’s author, claims that Ang, her brother James Haven, and her manager Geyer Kosinski began planting negative stories about Aniston in the press back in 2005 to begin putting strain on Pitt’s marriage.

The main story in question was that Jen cared more about her career than kids, which was opposite of what Brad wanted. “Jolie was convinced that this is the story that would resonate with all these women who saw her as a man-stealing b**ch.”

Angelina Jolie's anger

Angelina Jolie is said to have a temper like a cobra.

Jennifer Aniston.

Angelina Jolie is said to have been stung by a string of vicious allegations about her marriage, morals and mothering.

US media have branded her "a fake" and a "liar", and is buzzing with reports she is still fighting with Jennifer Aniston, her marriage to Brad Pitt is in tatters and she has decided to adopt a kid without him.

The bulk of of the claims come from material in two upcoming books, Brangelina: The Untold Story of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie by Ian Halperin and a biography by controversial author Andrew Morton.

Former Rolling Stone writer Halperin is said to claim Jolie used her kids to lure Pitt away from ex-wife Aniston, but they have since "broken up so many times it would make your head spin".

He suggests Jolie "has a temper like a cobra" and the pair constantly row over their three biological and three adopted children.

"They fight all the time about the kids – where to put toys, saying the wrong thing to a nanny, not cleaning up," a source said. "Like cats and dogs."

The book is also believed to allege the pair may have cheated on each other, although there is no solid evidence, and they will split by Christmas 2010.

According to Us magazine, Halperin explained how Jolie and Pitt, "have successfully manipulated the public into believing a glamorous fairytale that bears little resemblance to the reality of the pair's life together".

Further explosive revelations allege Jolie, who has previously admitted using heroin, "recently" was a user of crystal meth or P.

Stateside magazines are also claiming Jolie's feud with Aniston is as bitchy as ever.

"Jen and Angie despise each other and take great pleasure in seeing each other squirm," an insider told Star.

The publication reports that Aniston keeps flaunting her strong relationship with Pitt's family, and enrages Jolie by making late night phonecalls to her ex-husband when he is in France.

While rumours have been rife in recent months that Jolie and Pitt are planning to expand their family, OK! magazine is now claiming Jolie has already filed paperwork to adopt a Syrian baby.

But according to a spokesman at the Immigration and Naturalization Service in Washington DC, Pitt's name doesn't appear in the documentation.

And the publication is claiming he is objecting to having another child. "Brad has made it clear that six children are more than he can handle," a source said.

Jennifer Aniston: Mexico Bikini Babe

Treating herself to some much-needed time off, Jennifer Aniston was spotted sunbathing off of the beach in Mexico yesterday (November 12).

The former “Friends” hottie looked to be enjoying her relaxing afternoon, though she seemed nervous about the nearby paparazzi as she fidgeted with her bikini top with numerous security staffers on-hand.

In related news, Star magazine is reporting that Miss Aniston has been known to play mind games with her ex-husband Brad Pitt’s lady Angelina Jolie.

A source told the tabloid, “Jen and Angie despise each other and take great pleasure in seeing each other squirm. Among the tricks Angie plays are finding from designers what dress Jennifer wants to wear on the red carpet — then going out to grab it for herself. Jen likes to make late night calls to Brad when he’s in France — conveniently forgetting the time difference so she will wake her nemesis in the early hours.”
